The Supported Youth Movement

During the past decade, the supported-youth movement has gained momentum in Maryland, enriching the lives of youth in elementary, middle and high school students. Clients are offered support to improve scholastically, gain valuable workplace skills and build competence and character.

Research has shown that supported youth often have better attitudes toward school and reduction in substance abuse and other negative behaviors.
